Workshop TRISTAN

Since 2016, Prof. Hartmut Egger and Prof. Mario Larch host the "TRade and International Sourcing: The Academic Network" (TRISTAN) Workshop at the University of Bayreuth on a biennial basis.

TRISTAN – a workshop aimed at promoting knowledge transfer, encouraging academic networking and stimulating research on international trade and sourcing - was first held at the University of Bayreuth in 2016 and again in 2018 focusing on the consequences of globalization to deepen the understanding of how international trade and sourcing affect firm performance and economic wellbeing.
On this occasion, TRISTAN welcomes academic speakers of highest international reputation to present current state-of-the-art research in the field.
